Dividing equity between cofounders, investors & team
|Date:||19.09.2018 - 19.09.2018|
Equity is the most precious thing you own as a founder. But considering you probably don’t have a lot of money to spend on salaries, you’ll likely need incentives to get on board advisors, employees and most importantly your fellow co-founders.
If you’re a founder looking to work out how much equity (or options) to give away to cofounders, advisors and employees – this workshop is one for you – at whatever stage company you are at.
In this workshop you will learn:
- How to decide how to split equity among co-founders and others fairly and efficiently
- When to engage with advisors and consultants and what to pay them (whether in cash or equity)
- The difference between shares and options and how to set up an options pool as part of your funding round
- When and how to set up an options scheme and what you need to do to run it
Your host is Anthony Rose – Serial entrepreneur and ‘The man behind BBC iPlayer’; Anthony has founded and sold multiple startups.
