La Salle Education Limited completed a further EIS ROUND raising £255,000.
La Salle Education, the education technology company, has completed a further EIS round raising £255,000 for a total funding of £2.1 million to date. Investors in the round included existing individual and institutional shareholders and new individual shareholders.
The funds will be used to recruit a number of high profile maths educators to assist CEO Mark McCourt to deliver an increasing number of La Salle’s CPD events throughout the country and to accelerate the roll out of Complete Mathematics to schools. In 2018, over 2,000 maths teachers attended a La Salle event, a figure that the company expects to increase significantly next year.
La Salle’s technology platform, “Complete Mathematics”, supports teachers to achieve meaningful improvements in pupils’ attainment in mathematics. It uniquely integrates lesson planning, the provision of education materials and assessment tools to provide benchmarking and improvement data on both the teaching and learning processes.
Mark McCourt said,”We are very pleased with the response from existing and new shareholders to this fund raising round. It enables us to recruit some great maths educators and to mount an intensive effort to roll out Complete Mathematics to schools in advance of the next academic year. It will also enable us to implement our longer term plans of developing additional subjects so that a “Complete School” will be available on the platform, and rolling the platform out to international markets in conjunction with partners.”
