Abbey Road Studios
Abbey Road Studios is a true global British music icon with nearly 85 years of unique musical heritage. An innovation in itself, Abbey Road was the world’s first purpose-built recording studios complex, first opening its doors in 1931. Home to countless landmark recordings and pioneering advances in recording technology. Legendary, professional, authoritative and a mark of quality.
In 2015, we launched Abbey Road Red, a brand new open innovation department based at the studios. Created to develop and support the next generation of music technologies, from music creation to music consumption, Red continues over 85 years of innovation legacy and continual adaptation at Abbey Road Studios. Our music-tech-specific incubation programme is the first of its kind in Europe, established to work with the brightest and best startups working in music tech.
Our 6-month incubation program gives you unparalleled access to Abbey Road and Universal’s facilities, staff and network of contacts. Uniquely, we also give you the opportunity to present at two showcase events - one at the beginning and one at the end of the programme - in front of a handpicked audience including VCs, potential clients and other music and tech executives.
A bespoke programme of one-on-one sessions with Abbey Road and Universal Music staff, tailored especially to your company’s needs, plus one-on-one sessions with external industry experts relevant to your business.
Use of Abbey Road offices for two meetings a month for private/business/client/investor meetings. Use of Studio Three for two days. Two early-morning tours for prospective clients.
Exposure on the Abbey Road website and social channels. The opportunity to present at Abbey Road Red tech networking events. The opportunity of Abbey Road and Universal as early-adopting clients.
Above all, startups accepted onto our program will benefit from the association with Abbey Road Studios, one of the world’s most iconic and widely loved music brands.
