Angels Den funds 27 businesses this year so far
So far this year Angels Den has funded 27 businesses with most recent successes including Better Schools Project, Fuel Station, ReChannel, Warbler and Van Bulck.
Fuel Station, a one-stop shop for all things health focused, Founded by BBC Apprentice Candidate Kurt Wilson, raised over £125,000 after attending an Angels Den SpeedFunding event and going live on the Angels Den crowdfunding platform.
Warbler, a smartphone marketing platform delivered online (SAAS), completed their first round of funding with Angels Den in less than two months. They came back for their second round of funding and pitched at a London Angel Club event where they attracted 13 new investors, as well as getting the majority of investors to follow their money in the second round so that they raised over 50% more than their target. Warbler returned to Angels Den for their third round of funding. This time 3 of the investors from the first closing round followed their money and invested another £30K, on the very impressive news flow from the US. Another 7 new investors contributed the remainder to complete the round.
