Lars joined Balderton as a General Partner in 2015, after a decade in Silicon Valley where he was involved with three of the Valley’s best-known tech companies – Uber, Dropbox and WhatsApp.

Joe has 25 years’ experience working as an LP, GP and is the Founder and Managing Partner of Isomer Capital, based in London and focused on European early-stage venture capital.

Tech Entrepreneur backed by investors such as 83 North, Vitruvian, the Angel Co- Fund and recently received £350m from Santander.
James Shaw | WithersWorldwide, Partner at WithersTech
Co-founded tech law firm JAG Shaw Baker which merged with Withers to create a new legal offering, Withers tech, in 2018. Two decades of experience helping entrepreneurs, high-growth technology-based companies and investors navigate their way through multiple rounds of financing, growth, scale-up and exit/liquidity events.
Luisa Alemany, MBA & PhD | Professor of Entrepreneurial Finance at LBS, Academic Director of the Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship
Currently sits in the investment committee of two early-stage investors and is involved in Rising Tide Europe I and II, the first European Women-only business angels’ fund. In the past, she was in the Board of EBAN, the European Business Angels Network.

Experienced Gaming Entrepreneur, founded White Almond which was sold to Samsung Co. Dr Vakili is an expert in digital media, stem cell research, nanotechnology and semiconductors.
Gary Dushnitsky, MSc & PhD | Associate Professor of Strategy and Entrepreneurship
Dr Dushnitsky has received several academic distinctions, including the 2009 Kauffmann Junior Faculty Fellowship the and the 2013 SMS Emerging Scholar Award. He serves as the Co-Editor at the Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal and a Senior Editor at Organization Science.
