Best Investment in Eco-Innovation 2015: Aeristech
The UKBAA Awards celebrate the founders and investors behind the UK’s most exciting high growth angel-backed businesses.
Best Investment in an Eco-Innovation 2015 Award sponsored by INNEON seeks to identify an innovative or potentially game changing business model in the sector.
The win was announced by Kiki Loizou, Small Business Editor of the Sunday Times at the Tower of London Pavilion on July 1st at the UKBAA Awards Dinner 2015.
Aeristech’s patented technology in electric supercharging and turbocharging overcomes the main obstacle to extreme engine downsizing, and lower CO2 emissions.
The judges felt that Aeristech was developing an innovative electric motor technology to reduce carbon dioxide emissions and increase efficiency and power across a platform of applications including full electric turbo-charging, electric boosting, and fuel cell compression. The investors in the company, notably through Minerva Business Angels, Angels5k and Midven, were recognised as having brought significant funding through several rounds and direct support to the team through the challenges of proving the concept and moving to effective commercialisation
Many thanks to Great Technical Services Ltd. for nominating Aeristech for this award.
We look forward to following the Aeristech growth story in the years ahead!
