Capital Pilot’s co-founder, Richard Blakesley, speaks to The Sunday Times
Richard Blakesley spent more than a decade working in mergers and acquisitions at Lehman Brothers and JP Morgan. He left the City in 2003 to work for and invest in fledgling businesses.
Two years ago, Blakesley, 52, co-founded Capital Pilot, which matches angel investors, mentors and advisers with start-ups across Britain.
It has more than 700 companies registered and has helped to fund new ventures such as the beauty booking service Secret Spa and Blocksure, which has developed a blockchain-based insurance platform.
