Jonathan Lowe has joined Catapult Venture Managers as an Investment Director.

He joins the company from Capital for Enterprise Limited (CfEL), where he was a Portfolio Director.

Jonathan began his career as a relationship manager for NatWest in Nottingham, but it is Jonathan’s nine years as Head of Business Investment at East Midlands Development Agency (EMDA) which he is best known for – leading the development of new loan and equity funds and overseeing two major SME grant programmes.

Jonathan commented: “I am highly delighted to be joining the Catapult team and to continue to support companies in the Midlands. In my role as Investment Director I want to establish relationships and assist companies with their growth plans, drawing on my experience in the small business market and development of programmes to support companies.

“During my time at EMDA and CfEL I have followed the fortunes of Catapult from its inception right through to today and, therefore, joining them has a special significance for me,” he said.
Catapult Managing Director Rob Carroll said: “The appointment of Jonathan is a crucial one and his broad investment experience over many years will be invaluable to us and the portfolio companies he will be supporting.”
