Gooseberry Planet fund raise
Gooseberry Planet, the game based learning software platform for teaching the safeguarding programme in schools, has completed an EIS approved £250,000 fund raising. The investors were from the OION network in Oxford, existing investors and two new business angels with previous experience in the education sector. Through contracts with their schools, 15,000 children in the UK and France are currently licensed to use the first product which deals with internet safety. The new funds will be used to expand the product range to include the other safeguarding topics recommended by DfE and to roll the platform out to further schools in the UK and abroad.
