Seedrs help London based theatre app, Stagedoor, beat funding target
A London-based theatre app startup, Stagedoor, successfully secured nearly £350,000, against a target of £200K, over the course of its equity crowdfunding campaign on Seedrs. The company revealed that its community of 20,000 users contributed enormously to the success of this campaign, investing £140,000 in amounts as small as £10 each.
Stagedoor helps users discover and book the best shows in London through personalised recommendations that take into account your preferences as well as those of your friends. Users can use Stagedoor to follow their favorite genres, venues, and artists and create alerts so they never miss getting a seat.
While sharing more details about the funding round’s success, Michael Hadjijoseph, Co-Founder and CEO of Stagedoor, said:
“This is a very exciting time for our company and I would like to thank all our investors for sharing our vision. Together, we will continue to make theatre more accessible and help introduce new audiences to our fantastic industry.”
