Startup Funding Club holds the first investor event of 2017 at The Club at The Ivy
Startup Funding Club (SFC), an award-winning seed investment fund and network of business angels has held its first pitching and networking event of 2017 at one of London’s most prestigious private members clubs: The Club at The Ivy. The company’s investor events, which are held monthly in different central London private clubs, are key in bringing together investors and entrepreneurs.
The latest edition of these popular occasions took place last Monday 16th January in Soho and welcomed dozens of investors looking for new opportunities to support innovative British startups. Following an introduction by SFC’s COO, Angelika Burawska, and the sponsors of the evening – Stackhouse Poland and SFC Bennett Brooks –, six high growth startups showcased their business models and potential to the crowd.
SFC’s events provide not only great business opportunities, but are also popular as social and networking gatherings for investors. The presentations were followed by a drinks and canapé reception that enabled startups and prospective investors to get to know each other and get into more detail about the businesses.
Startup Funding Club provides capital to promising British businesses – with a particular emphasis on SEIS funding –, acting as a facilitator for young businesses to receive funding from the company’s extensive network of angel investors, seed investment funds and other associated sources.
