Startup Funding Club invests over £300K in British startups
Startup Funding Club (SFC) has recently invested £300K in four British startups: Curamicus, Designed in Colour, icarusparts.com and Torsion Information Security. The early-stage companies operate in different industries ranging from assistive technology to the automotive sector.
The funds have been raised via SFC’s award-winning Angel Network and the SFC Funds. The four companies have received investment from angels, with icarusparts.com and Torsion IS also receiving capital from the SFC Funds.
“Following a busy summer, we kept up the pace in October with four companies receiving investments through SFC and operating in very diverse sectors such as Consumer Products, IoT, E-commerce, and Cybersecurity.” Said Joseph Zipfel, Investment Manager at Startup Funding Club. “Investments came from both our angel network and our SEIS/EIS funds which is a good illustration of the diversity of our investment model.”
Curamicus Ltd is developing massively scalable assistive technology to reduce anxiety and suffering for Elders and vulnerable people worldwide allowing them to live safer, more fulfilling lives.
