The International FinTech Conference 2018
HM Treasury will host the second International FinTech Conference in Central London on 22nd March 2018, bringing together international investors with innovative UK FinTech firms for an exciting one-day programme that will highlight the UK’s position as the global leading FinTech hub and the invaluable opportunities for investment in our market.
This is an opportunity to hear from the most influential voices in industry and Government, including panels of senior business leaders, on the policies and innovation that make the UK a world leader for FinTech. UK FinTech firms will pitch directly to investors from around the world.
Last year’s programme featured keynote speeches from the Chancellor of the Exchequer Philip Hammond, Governor of the Bank of England Mark Carney, speakers including Eileen Burbidge, HMT’s Special Envoy for FinTech, Xavier Rolet of the London Stock Exchange Group and Adrienne Harris, former Special Assistant to the (US) President for Economic Policy, and workshops covering a range of FinTech policy topics such as payments, robo-advice, and cyber security.
It is a government priority to support the UK’s world-leading FinTech sector. Attracting investment is key to the growth of the sector. This conference will provide a platform for the UK’s top FinTech firms to showcase their talent and pitch directly to the world’s leading investors.
