UKBAA Angel Investment Awards success stories – SeedLegals open up about winning Best New Entrant to the Ecosystem in 2018
The UKBAA Angel Investment Awards recognises the UK’s standout angels, crowdfunders, early-stage VC’s and the innovators they back.
We spoke with Anthony Rose, the CEO and Founder of SeedLegals, recently to reflect on the company’s win in 2018, where they took home the Best New Entrant to the Ecosystem award. Discussing the importance of the awards Anthony shared:
“Awards are super important for early stage start-ups. They provide validation, they provide PR and we love the fact that we won. For someone looking to disrupt the way that things have been done by lawyers for centuries, the stamp of approval and the PR from an award is super important.”
Looking forward to this year’s awards on 2nd July, Anthony has a few words of encouragement for those wishing to submit nominations.
“If you’re thinking of nominating, the problem is there are too many things to do in a day and it sits on your to-do list. The thing is to motivate yourself, make a cup of coffee, find one of your colleagues, brainstorm all the cool things that you do that fit one of the categories and get around to filling out the form.”
