The Business Funding Show brings together the leading players in the UK SME sector

Businesses that are looking for funding to grow their ventures need look no further.

Taking place in Old Billingsgate, London on 2nd and 3rd February 2016,  Business Funding Show  (BFS) will bring together two key groups in the UK economy – entrepreneurs looking for funding and leading finance-providers.

The event will host over 100 exhibitors spread across three exhibiting areas: Lending, Investment, and Growth Support. All attendees to the event will have ample opportunity to liaise with representatives of various leading financial institutions to discuss their funding options.

Celebrated entrepreneurs and investors such as Richard Reed (Innocent), Charlie Mullins (Pimlico Plumbers), and Lord Bilimoria (Cobra Beer) will be present to offer guidance to businesses seeking direction.

Other notable speakers include Bill Morrow (Angels Den), Jenny Tooth (UK Business Angels), Mark Wright (The Apprentice winner 2015), David Buttress (JustEat), Chelsey Baker (Broadcasting Your Business), Michael Wilkinson (Crowdcube), Mark Williams (Ratesetter), Matt Adey (British Business Bank), Karen Melonie Gould (Gateway2Entreprise) and many more.

Among confirmed exhibitors are PayPal (Sponsor), NatWest (Sponsor), Asset Finance Solutions, Ratesetter, Funding Knight, Bibby Financial Services, Science and Technology Facilities Council, Enterprise Europe Network, Intellectual Property Office, ICAEW, Experian, Rockstar (Sponsor) – just to name a few.

A range of workshops and training sessions will help businesses explore the options that are available to them and also help them become more attractive to funders.

The Mentoring & Advice Clinic will provide one-to-one support with financial, business and legal issues. Six strongest businesses selected among all those who apply will have the opportunity to pitch for funding at Live Investment Challenge run by Angels Den.

Commenting on the show, Arina Osiannaya, director of The Business Funding Show, said; “At a time when the lines between the business and finance provider are becoming increasingly blurred, businesses still hesitate to approach external funding sources due to lack of knowledge and understanding. The event has so much appeal because it engages the entire spectrum of finance providers and dissolves the traditional walls that have always separated the funders from the fund seekers.”

Registration is already underway for the Business Funding Show, with businesses and finance providers from across England already confirmed. Over 4,000 SMEs have already registered their interest in the event.
